Why We Exist

The Motley sells grooming products. Every man needs to groom, but the products available for “every man” – the Old Spices and Gillette body washes of the world – seem to be concocted for 16 year old boys, not men. Where have the simple, natural, masculine scents gone? What happened to packaging that is not over-designed, full of superfluous eye candy, and close to resembling the design on the next GI Joe movie poster?

It’s out there. But it’s a bit difficult to find.

Correction: it was difficult to find. We’re here to give you quality, refined products that are for gentlemen, not boys. We’re here to fill the gap we’ve observed for so long.
